This Session is for Anyone Who Wants to Know More About Returning to Work Following Postnatal Depression. Employees, Managers, and Leaders

Post-natal depression is a common mental health condition that can occur after childbirth, causing persistent low mood, anxiety and exhaustion that go beyond typical early-parenting challenges.

It’s thought that it affects up to 20% of mothers, yet, of those receiving support from mental health services, only 56% receive any return-to-work support.

This webinar focuses on understanding the condition, its impact and the role organisations can play in fostering a safe transition back to the workplace.

You will learn:

  • How post-natal depression may present.
  • The potential challenges staff might face as they balance recovery with responsibilities and why compassion is key.
  • What reasonable adjustments, policies and practical solutions to implement that will be helpful to reduce stigma and build trust.

"Wow, Laura, it was such an honour to hear you speak so eloquently and comprehensively in the Wellbeing of Women Webinar. You convey so much complexity in such a beautiful, human way. Absolute queen."
