Official Bio

Laura Greenwood is a Yorkshire based Founder, Accredited Psychotherapist, Maternal Mental Health Coach, Clinical Supervisor, Teacher, Consultant, Workplace Educator and Speaker with 15+ years of experience.

Throughout her career, including over 10 years in the NHS, Laura has discovered patterns in the ways that people respond to mental health difficulties, and has made it her mission to help clients overcome these difficulties, realise their full potential, and live the life they love.

Specialising in Perinatal Mental Health, Motherhood, Matrescence, Emotional Regulation, and Trauma, Laura is passionate about sharing everything that she has learnt as a clinician, coach, wife, mother and spiritual-being.

Laura uses this experience and psychotherapeutic techniques such as CBT, EMDR and other evidence-based methods to support clients to reach their therapy goals.

When she isn’t coaching clients one-to-one, she provides teaching and consultancy to educational settings and workplaces, as well as providing online sessions for partners and attending events as a speaker.

Since becoming a Mother, Laura has become passionate about changing the culture of support for all parents, at whatever stage of parenting they are at. She can support them through pregnancy, postnatal and beyond. Navigating the huge identity shift that is becoming parents is challenging enough, without coming from a place of struggle.
